Cancelled Call Flows
An automated omnichannel sequence triggered when a sales call is cancelled by a lead
How it runs
Trigger
Cancellation event
Step 01
Capture the reason if given
Routes — 3 ways
- Rescheduling: re-book link
- Not ready: dated re-approach
- Wrong fit: close out and log
Reason data is what makes the funnel diagnosable
Step 02
Update the opportunity
Step 03
Write to the reporting store
What it is
A cancellation triggers a different sequence to a no-show, because a cancellation comes with information: they told you something.
You need this if cancellations just vanish from the calendar, because you lose both the lead and the reason.
The reason is the only data that tells you whether your problem is targeting, timing or the offer itself.
If you already chase cancellations, the upgrade is routing, because a "not now" and a "wrong fit" shouldn't get the same follow-up and treating them identically is why the nurture list stops converting.
What it does for you
Cancellations split by reason
so a "not right now" gets a dated re-approach instead of the same generic chase.
You capture why deals cancel
which is the cheapest funnel diagnostic you'll ever run.
Genuinely interested but badly timed leads stay warm to a specific date rather than getting lost in the general list
